Background & Experience
Jessica focuses her practice on advising oil and gas producers operating in the Marcellus and Utica Shale plays.
Jessica regularly advises clients on:
- Oil, gas, and mineral title issues, including the provision of drilling, division order, leasehold, and acquisition title opinions
- Title curative
- Pooling and unitization issues
- Undivided mineral ownership
- Leasehold estates
- Oil and gas title litigation
- Acquisitions and divestitures, particularly due diligence
Jessica has regularly advised 5 of the top 10 producers of oil and gas in the United States, together with private equity groups and smaller, independent producers. She has served as co-presenter for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute course, “Advanced Mineral Title Examination for Attorneys.”
Prior Experience
Following law school Jessica clerked for the Honorable Legrome D. Davis in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to forming Lindhome & Songster, P.C., Jessica was an associate with the Law Office of Richard S. Lindhome and the law firm of Acker and Larsen, P.C., where she practiced primarily real estate law and was an approved title attorney for numerous banks and title insurance companies. From 2008-2009 she also served as the First Assistant District Attorney of Potter County. Jessica has both represented clients in arbitration and served as a court-appointed arbitration panelist.
Jessica drafted and coordinated documentation for multiple project financings for a large timber concern. Her real estate experience extends from residential to commercial transactions, including large-scale agricultural financing.
